The new shelter is 80% complete and will house a total of 14 families and 84 children. The design has kept the Navajo philosophy of
learning in mind, for example,
the East wing will be for learning and emphasizing character development and excellence of
heart and mind. The East wing
will also house the Administrative and Executive staff of the Home for Women and
Children.
