Donations

The Home for Women and Children was founded in l978 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.  We are funded by grants and donations and appreciate your support to keep our doors open to needy families.

             MATERIAL DONATIONS:    

+ What do we need?

Clothing - all sizes especially toddler and children sizes. We accept all sizes for men and women as well.
Bedding - sheets, pillow cases, blankets, etc....
Food
Furniture of all kinds
VCRs and DVD Players and movies
Toys for all ages
Games for all ages
Basic Necessities for example, bathroom needs - shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, etc....any kind of toiletries.

+ Who will receive your donations?

All families ... often times victims/survivors and child victim witnesses come with just the clothes they are wearing.

+ When do we take donations?

On Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. For furniture donations, please call ahead at 505-368-5124 and talk with the Shelter Manager or Executive Director.
